Description of committee:

MISSION STATEMENT: To identity, develop, and disseminate ways to engage, educate and support primary care pediatric providers to better address the social, emotional and behavioral needs of their patients and families.

VISION STATEMENT: All of Ohio’s children, regardless of insurance type, are screened routinely for social, emotional, and behavioral concerns in a developmentally appropriate and standardized way, and their pediatric primary care providers are given the skills, referral resources, and reimbursement needed both to administer the screen and to address any identified concerns in an expedient, family-centered, culturally sensitive, and evidence-based manner.

Meeting dates: The committee meets twice a year either in person or by teleconfernce
