Free Pre-school vision screening
To increase the visual quality of life for Ohio's children and adults, Prevent Blindness Ohio is offering FREE 4-hour trainings that will provide instruction on how to perform adult and preschool vision screenings. Emergency Guidelines for Schools (EGS)
The Ohio Department of Health, School and Adolescent Health, in collaboration with the Ohio Department of Public Safety's (ODPS), Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMSC) program, and the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Committee of the Ohio AAP have produced its third edition of the Emergency Guidelines for Schools (EGS). The initial EGS were field tested in seven school districts throughout Ohio in 1997 and revised based on school feedback.
